Community Service Lecture (KPM), Socioeconomic Development, Field-Based LearningAbstrak
The Community Service Program (Kuliah Pengabdian Masyarakat, KPM) is a field-based initiative designed to enable university students to contribute directly to society. This program integrates practical learning experiences, fostering students' empathy and problem-solving abilities while addressing community challenges. As an integral part of the academic curriculum, KPM enhances intellectual, emotional, and social capacities. In Desa Pandansari, the program involved four key methods: interviews with community leaders, socialization efforts, direct observations, and skill-based training. The implementation was structured into four stages: planning, preparation, socialization, and evaluation. Key activities focused on economic, educational, social, and health aspects, tailored to the community's needs. Highlights included workshops on entrepreneurship and creative economy education in local schools, aligning with the students’ academic backgrounds in Islamic economics. This structured approach successfully identified local challenges and provided sustainable solutions, contributing to the holistic development of Desa Pandansari while enriching student competencies in community engagement.
